convert wma files to mp3 in windows media player

I was wondering if and how this is possible ,as i want to play music stored on my NAS My Book thru my Samsung tv to my Onkyo AV receiver.My tv does not support the format I ripped the cds in so need to convert them to mp3.I could re-rip them , I know , but this would take forever.Or maybe the tv can be programmed to accept wma files.TV is samsung led le6530.Any help would be greatfully accepted
