Just bought it the Onkyo TX SR-705, and now i have this problem.
I want to use my Arcam Alpha 9 as a power amplifier, to feed my front speakers.
So i connect the 2 preouts front speakers of the Onkyo, to the 2 power amplifiers of the Arcam...... but i don´t have sound. Already increase the volume of the Arcam, and nothing
In a "desperate" measure i already tried to connect to preamp amplifier of the Arcam, and nothing.... no sound at all at my front speakers
Am I missing something or am i doing something wrong?
And just if someone can enlight me in this query....
Does the hdmi connection carrys the Dolby Digital, DTS soundtracks, or do i need to put a Coaxial cable, to have this? I already know that the HDMI 1.3 carrys the DTrue, DTS HD, but do we need an extra cable, to have "normal" DD, DTS?
