Hi guys!

I'm having a bit of trouble trying to get my new Macbook Pro to connect to my Sony KDL-26V4500 telly.

I am running Mac OS X 10.6.1 Snow Leopard, connecting using a Mini Displayport to HDMI adapter and a 5M That Cable HDMI cable.

I have tried all the resolutions, with overscan off & on, and 50hz & 60hz. The highest resolution I can get a picture with is 576p!

Previously on my old Macbook Pro, by using HDMI to DVI I could get 720p/1080i on the Sony.

I'd appreciate any help!

Cheers

Have you tried adjusting your MacBook Pro's Display settings in System Preferences?

Just to let everybody know: the cable was actually faulty. I emailed ThatCable and got a speedy response along with a new cable shipped out. Everything is now working excellently and I applaud ThatCable on their top customer service.
