Connecting additional speakers - newbie question

If I buy now amp and set of surrond speakers that will be wall mounted, will I be able to add later-on two floorstanding stereo speakers for music listening, and run them from the same amp (i.e. switch output between surround set and stereo speakers)?

Yes, provided you buy a surround amp with speaker A/B switching.

Can you give us an exmple of receivers that have the feature "speaker A/B switching" ? Is it the sama as "multi room" ? Thanks
