Connect Marantz to Onkyo

Two questions. I have the monitor audio BR5 with upgraded fronts RS6. What’s the best way to connect my marantz CD to Onkyo 605 receiver. Time moves quick and I am in the process of acquiring (buying) the Onkyo 875 but first buying the Panasonic BD55 the question here is BD55 better to play CD rather than the Marantz. The current sale dictates which I buy first.

Probably using the analogue stereo outputs on the Marantz, but it kinda depends which Marantz it is.

And no, the Panasonic won't play CDs better.
