Confusion as to 5.1 speaker connection on Onkyo 606

I.m confused that I may have connected my rear speakers to the wrong connectors on the amp.

Should I be using surround left and right which I currently am or should it be the surround back left and right???

Advice appreciated

as per the manual. on a 5.1 you use the surrounds not the rerars as they are for a 7.1 set up.

Surround left and right. Surround back only for 7.1-channel set-ups.
