confusing sony

i know it may sound silly but im in the market for a new lcd screen at 40 inches and ive been looking at the sony web site but cant figure out which is the flagship/best tv at that size. can someone help me please. many thanks

Alphabetically, Z is best.

But the X series is sonys flagship model. It all gets rather confusing really.

Even as A Sony fan I have to say that the number of models they have at the moment is completely ridiculous and in light of other posts on here perhaps the phrase 'quality NOT quantity' is something they should adopt!

I looked at getting the z series before i got my 40w4500, but watching the difference at the shop it didnt justify spending another £700, and the x series to me looks awful and for £3k i would want something better looking, to me it looks cheap
