compatible equipment

I want to buy an amp and speakers to go with my blue ray player. It will be used quite a bit for music aswell as films and i am unsure as to what will meet my requirements. I have read about the yamaha DSP-AX863SE amp and the Q Acoustics 1010i 5.1 speakers. Can anyone tell me if these would make good partners and also match my needs?

The Yamaha DSP-AX863SE is superb and it will work well with the 1010i speakers. If you can stretch your budget than the new Vector series of sub/sat speakers from Monitor Audio are also worth serious consideration. The Vectors work very well with the Yamaha.
