Chord amp with B&W speakers

I've the chance of buying a discontinued/discounted Chord CPM 2650 integrated amp. I currently use B&W CM10 S2 speakers, so wondering if anyone has experience of this combination, or any opinions of whether they would make a good match.

I will have the opportunity to demo the amp, so i will be able to make up my own mind, but just interested to read other opinions.

My current amp is a Rega Aethos, so also do people see the Chord as being an upgrade over the Rega ?

I haven’t heard one, though I’ve a pal with a Chord power amp which seems powerful and neutral with a fair heft. I’d expect it to be less characterful than your Rega, which is intended to be ‘bouncy’ and enjoyable.

The Chord looks like it’s a decade or more old, (maybe launched around 2007?) so I’d ask Chord if they can still service/repair it.
