Question Centre Speaker Upgrade

I have an old Mission Cinema 7 system with a couple of Yamaha surround speakers.
I'm thinking about upgrading the centre speaker but there seems to be 100's of choices!
My budget is from £250 to £600, my room size is about 3m x 4m. I have a Denon AVC-X4700 AV amp.

Please will you help in recommending a centre speaker for me?

It's hard to recommend a speaker of another brand. For tonal match, best to go for same series (or same brand) speakers. Your speakers are now discontinued, so look at other Mission alternatives. But make sure you buy from a place with generous returns policy if you're not happy with the sound. Or arrange a home demo if possible.

yup, the upgrade bug just hit ya.

it sucks that we can't hear many speakers before purchase. there iarevery limited places that will allow you to sit and choose a few brands to try out.

there are even fewer companies with an in home free trial.

i guess the next best thing is youtube samples. tharbamar has such a channel.
