Due to the AV rack I have my centre speaker is going to have to be placed on the top of the rack at the same level as the tv sits but just in front.

Would any problems arise because of this speaker placement?

I presume the AV receiver can take care of speaker positioning and sound levels

Most modern amps have very good auto set up interfaces (maybe not Arcam) where they should be able to adjust the delay to give you a well ballanced sound, the positionong of youe centre is not ideal but not total out of the way either.

So it's sitting on the top shelf of the rack with the TV just behind it? No problems at all - in fact, it's an even better position than the more conventional 'speaker' on the shelf below the TV' set-up...

Thanks very much chaps.

I didn't think there would be a problem but I feel a whole lot better now.

(Andrew - any chance of some input on my Kef 3005 thread?)
