hi all

I have a Yamaha RXV1065 av amp connected to front speakers (KEF IQ1's) and rear (Boston Acoustics Soundware), fed by a home theatre PC. Can you recommend a centre speaker for this setup, when I first bought the KEFs there was a matching centre but since they are a few years old now this is not the case.

The KEF C6LCR doesn't seem to get very good reviews. The KEF IQ60 seems a little over the top for what I need and is not in my budget of £200.

My local dealer has suggested either a KEF KHT5005.2 centre or KHT3005 SE centre. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Alternatively I could move the IQ1's to my office as I will need some speakers in there soon, and buy an entirely new set of fronts & centre.

The natural choice would have been the iQ2c but as you have rightly said these are now discontinued and scarce but it may be worth giving KEF a call on 01622 672 261 to see if they have one and in a matching coulor to your iQ1's, faling that they may have a 1Q6c(also discontinued) that they can do you a good deal on. Otherwise there is also the newer iQ60c which will work very well with your iQ1's

Thanks for that. Ringing around at the moment. Walnut is the same colour as my IQ1's so that's a result....
