What is the best cd ripping program for Mac computers.

I want to rip my cd's in the best resolution then transfer to a NAS drive for streaming.

I don't anticipate converting anything to a compressed file such as MP3.

I use MAX, but it's a wee bit flaky. When MAX can't cope with a CD, I revert to letting iTunes do it and its never failed.

To be honest, I really don't think SQ wise, there's a difference.

Depends what your streaming system will be. You can rip to WAV, FLAC or ALAC but you have to make sure the streamer can read the appropriate file. As always, Apple are the awkward ones and not all streamers are compatible with ALAC. The two main ripping programmes are EAC and dBpoweramp.

Though there's no real excuse it's been open-source for about 4½ years.
