I'm after a new CD Player and have decided on a Marantz CD6003 to go in my system. The only thing is I've seen an Audiolab 8000CDE player on line at a cheaper price, but can't find any reviews. Are they any cop and would it be better than the Marantz.

It doesn't ring any bells with me either. It may be a model from the original 1990's range, so maybe worthwhile investigating further.
What speakers have you/propose to get? That could be a deciding factor.....
