CD player feedback Cambridge/Marantz

Hello. I purchased the Cabridge Audio 651c player. I think it's good but a bit flat sounding compared to my Marantz CD6004. I was thinking of returning it and getting the Mrantz SA8005. Any thoughts on this. Just wondering if the Marantz is 300 dollars better.

if the cd player is brand new, it may need a little running in time. and some time for your ears to adjust.

the marantz may suit you better. the 6005 may be better value, or even the pearl lite.
