CD player dac or av amp dac?

Hi, I have recently purchased a Denon dcd 520ae to use with my onkyo tx-nr609,I realise this quite a budget system but to get the best sound quality I'm unsure as to which dac to use! Ie..digital or analogue!? Thanks in advance...Mark

Try both and see which you prefer, there's no right answer, only what sounds best to you. Be aware that there may be a level difference between the two different outputs and the human ear automatically prefers whatever sounds the loudest, so you'll need to make sure you get the levels the same when making your comparison.
