Im in middle of doing my bathroom up, i have a 12 v transformer ready for power, can i get a car stereo and install it in my bathroom wall?...

I can pick up power easy, and run speaker cables under floor.speaker outputs are 4 x 60watt on stereo, will i be able to run a pair of wharfedale 9.0s off of it do you think?

Can mount stereo in a plasterboard cavity wall well away from bath and shower, its power for speakers im worried about..

And someone put a bath in the boot of a Mini...

But if a bath in a car doesn't convince you, how about a limo in a tank?

I would rethink your idea if I were you. 4 x 60W from a head unit is a peak value. This is also normally measured at a voltage higher than 12V for car audio at 4 ohms. I have a pair of Alpine amplifiers in my car which don't even produce 60W per channel, and they are pretty big amps.

In my younger days I connected a hifi speaker to a headunit and it sounded really really bad.

Well the 9.0's have textile tweeters so at best they'll get soggy, at worst they'll rot.

do it. and post pics. i'm picturing a halfords special with loads of lights, etc. going crazy in your bathroom wall. when you come to sell your house, "...and this is the bathroom, with built in car stereo..."

maybe you could put an led strip under the bath. or one of those pneumatic suspension kits, it would work great on the toilet, no need to wipe - i'll shake it clean.
