Just got the onkyo a9010 to compare to my onkyo a9050. I took the a9010 top of and were are these four new capacitors onkyo said it has when tuned up in the UK. I see two slightly smaller than my a9050. Am I looking at the Wright one's that say 8500uf on them. Onkyo a9050 has two 10.000uf. Are these the capacitors if so the a9010 only has two not four

These are the storage capacitors for the power supply. Assuming a split supply for a class A/B amp, you would have one cap for each supply rail. Caps in parallel are simply summed, so the a9010 has 2 x 8500 uF = 17,000 uF on each rail, the a9050 has 1 x 10,000 uF on each rail.

The size of the storage caps drives the amp's ability to deliver power, so generally bigger is better - but there are many other things that also need to be taken into account. Given Onkyo are usually well regarded and seem to know what they are doing, I wouldn't worry about it.
