Hi all, im looking for speakers for pc/tv, these 2 canton speakers are for $500. Is these good and worth a buy?

Yes, that is a god deal. Are they used? If they are in good shape then $500 is more than worth it. I think they are $1299 brand new. I bought a pair and kept them for a while. Very clear, detaled sound with good bass. With a few of my amps though, they did get a little bright sounding on top, but I may have never kept them long enough or played them enough to really break them in.

Sine you will have them close I am not sure if the Cantons are magnetically shielded ot not? Or if that even makes a difference anymore with flat screens? I thnk that only pertained to CRT TV's and computer screens.

eshop says its brand new, maybe by mistake they wrote thats the price for 2 speakers instead of one
