Which browser are you using? Internet Explorer users can have problems. Disable rich text (link at the bottom of the dialogue box where you type your message) before typing.

One I just created in Firefox hasn't appeared despite getting confirmation it has!

NOTE FROM MODS - both yourself and bigfish786 have now been made trusted users to see if this solves issue
