Can I connect my 3D DVD Player to AV Reciever?

Just had Samsung LED 3D TV delivered and I need to know if I can connect Samsung 3D DVD player into my Pioneer 919 reciever?

Just wondered if the reciever will work as I only have one HDMI cable (in the wall) going to the TV from the reciever.

I have a funny feeling I may need to buy a 3D receiver, I hope not!!!

You can connect it - you just won't get 3D pass-through.
