Hello everybody, I am new user of this forum.

I'm new in hi-fi systems so i have no experience.

My problem may be simply for you, but it isn't for me. I don't know which one of theese systems is better:
Cambridge Audio Azur 640A v2 and 640C v2 or Harman/Kardon HK980 and HD980.

Why theese two sets - becouse i can buy them in similar and good prices for me.

Thank you for help and sorry for my English, I'm form poland and i am still learning.

What speakers do you have?

What music do you like?

Can you audition or demo the systems?

Hi Invader:

Welcome. Among CA and HK, I would prefer CA anyday because they are musical and a very good amp and cd player for the money. They were the best when they were released and 5-star rated combination from WHFSV. I have the CA 640 amp and cdp for nearly 1 year and am happy with it, but I feel they can drive bookshelf speakers better than floorstander speakers.

You never told what speakers you have or you have in mind to buy. But, i would suggest you to buy a warm speaker meaning they are not bright or harsh in treble department. Some bookshelf speakers to consider are,

* Diamond 9.1/9.2
* MS Aviano 1/2
* MS 902i
