Been there!
Used the CAM for freeview Setanta. Phoned Setanta who then sent out the Setanta card. This wouldn't fit as a separate cradle to hold the card is needed. Got Setanta to send one out (£20 something). Fitted card to cradle, cradle to Pana 32PX700. This was very awkward. There are two 'runners' in the TV CAM space into which the module must slide. Getting this lined up correctly was a pain but when it is right, you will feel the cradle connector mate with the CAM connector.
Accessing the menu on the tv will then show info about the module fitted.
Unfortunately the following steps will also happen:-
1. You will spend a long time on the phone to Setanta but they will eventually send out the initialization signal. You will watch a little bit of SPL football and maybe the odd Premiership match.
2. You will then have a specific premiership match that you wish to watch, get your beer, turn on the tv and see 'encrypted service...you are not entitled to watch'. You will spend a long time on the phone to Setanta who will eventually reset your box but this will be some two hours after the match.
Repeat number 2 until after a few months.....
3. You get really fed up, phone Setanta, let them know what you think of them and then tell them to stick their service.
Then you just buy DVD box sets and enjoy Match of the day on freeview BBC1 each Saturday!
