Cabling an Onkyo 875

I am currently amplifying my Cyrus CDx via an Onkyo 875 into a pair of Dali 5s.

Is there a way of connecting a dedicated CD amplifier (when I buy it - model undecided) via the Onkyo into the same Dalis. I want to be able to use the same speakers for TV/DVD sound as well as CD sound.

If there is a way, will the Onkyo circuitry degrade the signal from the CD amp?

You can plug a stereo amp into the front preouts on the 875. If you get a new Cyrus you can set it to be a power amplifier on the av setting. Then plug your cd player into the stereo amp and the 875 will not be affecting anything.
