Here's the conundrum:

Sighted tests can be flawed because of expectation bias, where people might think they hear differences when none actually exist.

Blind tests can be flawed because of stress, where people might not detect differences that are actually there.

I don't have the solution to this, apart from suggesting that each person uses the testing methodolgy that they are happiest with.

To be fair to everyone. The first post was little more than an opinion and comment on an earlker post and everyone could see where it would lead. I regret the urge to critise others but I would hate to see reputations spoiled.
