I have just moved to my new house and slowly setting up my system just running 2 x fronts at the moment, the rears im planning to wire in behide my skirting boards as there off at the mo waiting for new to be put on.
the cable is QED micro now the thing is the two pieces of cable i have are far too short after mesuring im gonna need about 30m lenght for the two cables i know its not expensive but its still about 80-90 quid.
At the moment the cables i have are around 10m and 12m which aint enough my question is should i buy the extra lenghts and bind them and use insulation tape which will save me a few quid but will this effect quality or not work or simply taking a risk that they could break up on or un-bind over time.
If problems occur i would be unable to access the cables as they would be behide the skirting boards.
any advice or tips on binding?
