Morning all,

I know you can plug a headphone amp into the iPhone connector and bypass the internal DAC using a USB lead, but does anyone know if you can do the same with Android phones or am I always going to have to use the headphone socket?

I'm not aware of any digital docks for my HTC Desire. As a standard USB connection I don't know if digital audio can be passed out of it, except by simply treating the storage in the phone as a disk drive. Not sure you'd be able to control the music using the phone in that case, in fact I'm sure you wouldn't be able to as the storage isn't available to the phone when the card is mounted on another device.

why dont u just install something like twonky (free) on ur android phone, and stream music direct to ur denon via dnla?

It's for portable use. I use the Sonos through the Denon, this was more for at work.
