Hi

I was wondering if any can enlighten me as to what we will see in 2009 in terms of new TV models. Will they overall be more affordable?

Will we see more hybrid monitors/TVs?

I am wondering whether or not to dive in now as the sales are on, or just wait that extra bit longer, in case something comes out that matches my needs perfectly.

I'm looking for a Full HD 26" TV with 24p support and possibly 100hz. Don't think they actually exist at the moment as all the TVs I've been looking at all miss at least one feature.

I'm going to be using it for 360/PS3, Blu-Rays and as a PC monitor. I can't stand watching Blu-Rays without 24p support because of the judderiness. I'm after 1080p as I'll be using it as a monitor and ideally it needs to be as small as a 26" again because I'll be using it as a monitor.

I've been looking at the Panasonic TX32LZD81 that has everything apart from 100hz but I'm thinking 32" may just be a bit too big.

Was hoping someone would have a suggestion on here??

Is this for your main TV? what is your viewing distance and your current TV size?

Buy now. Im sorry but you can always wait for the next model and never end up buying. New tvs are released all the time. Technology changes so quick. What happens in 2009...you can just say should i but now or wait for the new models. Its can be never ending. Need to just take the plunge when you decide you want a new tv and have the money.

If you buy now, check the Sony KDL-26V4500 out. I use this telly religiously and accepts 1080/24 and no motion blurring is apparent (to my eyes). 1080p is totally irrelevant at this size in my personal opinion but then this may be different as you will be using the screen as a monitor too... I like yourself wanted to get one of the best 26"s I could find, and after reading reviews and checking the TV out itself I was led to the Sony.

This will be used as my bedroom TV, with my 40v3000 in the living room. Although I'll still be watching plenty of blurays in bed, hence why i need 24p.

This 26v4500 would be perfect if it had full hd, as I'm also using it as a monitor. However, I can get the panasonic equivalent for a lot less! How comes 26" TVs are so expensive relative to 32"?
