I have a pair of lovely speakers at home but the innards are....buggered, to say the least. I'd love to rebuild the innards so I can keep the cabinets.

Does anyone know of any good sites where I can buy a pair of good quality tweeters, woofers and crossovers? Please

Any help will be much appreciated =D

As mentioned Wilmslow are the most competent UK supplier of drivers, they will also be very helpful in recommending the right ones. What type of enclosure are they?

Check out the World Designs website; they were aligned (I think) to Hi Fi World magazine a while back, but they produced kits you could put together. They also had plenty of articles on the subject (magazine included), so maybe worth a look?

It may end up costly and in tears unless the manufacturer or a specialist supplier has original parts available. A lot of work goes into speaker design and matching cabinets/drivers/crossovers though you'd be forgiven to sometimes think whether they really did put any work in ... .I would'nt bother as the results are unpredictable and certainly different from what it sounded originally. Likewise, if its a valuable classic you need original parts.
