I thinking of getting a more powerfull amp since i could do with a more bassy sound (not a subwoofer, edm is fine)

Nad c 370/372 used is priced about my limited, big powerfull amp with 150 watt and generally a bassy sound, more oomph, i don't need, would not use 150 watt for playing loud but with that kind of power it's not hard to play loud or just play edm with good control and no distortion unless it's insanly loud.

I remember reading about the nad c 370 being an amp the has a bad build quality and it's not gonna last for so many years, but from the link it's the nad c 372

Is the build quality not that great from the big nad's?

They don't look particularly pretty but they are solidly built.

The thing to remember is that amps such as the C370 are getting on a bit now. They can suffer from the electrolytic caps going bad which results in the protection circuit activating. They can also have dry solder issues.

These are all actually very easy fixes for any competent person. The protection fault fix can actually be bought as a kit on eBay.

I'm not saying these faults are guaranteed to happen, but you should be aware as they are the biggest faults of these amps.

Personally I would buy a C370 today as it is a very good amplifier and a one in nice condition is very good value for money.

The amplifiers you mention easily compete with anything you can buy today.

I own 2 NAD amplifiers, a NAD phono stage and a NAD tuner. It's all of excellent quality.
