Budget TV vs Budget Projector?

i have a budget of around £700 and wanting to know more about projectors, is a tv better for my budget than a cheap projector?

how much are the screen for projectors to display images on?
how often do bulbs need to be changed and how much are they, and other expenses to be expected?
is it as good quality as watching 1080p blu rays on a £700 tv? will be having home cinema also so sub, centre and everything.

Your budget though is £700.Whilst not huge, I'd hardly describe it as budget,. more mid range in TV terms.
