I have a nad c325bee amp and c542 cd player in a room of 18ftx12ft.

i need to replace my heybrook hb1 speakers, nothing wrong with them but i need a smaller box size for the room.

after searching about my list so far is M/Audio bronze Bx2.

Dali lektor 2

Wharfdale 9.1.

so its 100-250 pounds price range. i know i have to listen to them first, but what is likely to be the star of this lot ?

and is there any others out there that i should make time for?

your help most appreciated

Q Acoustics 2010i are arguably better than those on your list

Any reason for these over the slightly larger (but still small) 2020i?

Another well reviewed speaker, look at the Tannoy DC4, available at £255 (£350 rrp)

Not at all really it is just that the 2010i's are cheaper and the Tannoy's just outside his budget.

(I never did get on with the smaller Tannoys myself so did not mention them)
