Budget set. Advice needed

Hi guys

I have recently bought Marantz PM6004 (ready for Dali zensor 3) but found Dynaudio DM 2/7 for 300 pounds. 18 month old ex demo pair and EB 1 speakers (300 as well). Would You consider them as good speakers for the price and good match for my amp? I like various types of music but mainly trance and house.

My source would FLAC files form my PC. Would simple 2xrca->3,5mm be enough or do I need a dac? I have Xonar D2X if this is important

Hi Szalony Koczkodanie,

Not sure how Xonar D2X compares with Essence ST/ STX ( very capable cards) but if it's as good then external DAC is not essential.

DM 2/7 pairs very good indeed with Marantz ( so Dali) and if it's only £300 I would go for it.

Yep, as long as you have enough space to give the Dyns some breathing room, they are definitely worth considering. Do try to hear them before you buy them though, just to make sure you like them.

Yeah. The seller agreed for audtion (still have to ask if possible to hook them up to my amp).
