Budget / Good Blu-Ray Player

Howdy all,

Quick question, my mum's heard of the "Blu-Ray" phrase finally and wants to get a Blu-Ray player, nothing snazzy, something that works well and does what it needs to.

Will be connected to a 32" Samsung LCD (I don't think it'd 1080p native) via HTML.

Whats a semi-budget one to go for? Is this Samsung any good? Or is there cheaper alternatives?

I'd go for a Sony BDP-S350, widely available now (at least until stocks run out) for about £135.

And before the forum smart-bottoms jump on you, it's HDMI, not HTML.
