Browser settings or WHF forum

Why is it that other users seem to be able to insert animated smileys, cut and paste text and paste links into posts on WHF forum's and I can't? Is it my browser settings, (IE11), preventing me doing this or is it the WHF website functionality?

If this has been posted before apologies, (could you please paste a link where I can find this discussion).

If you have Google Chrome it could be worth a try.

Use the *Feedback* button about your woes. It is alleged that these comments are used to improve the site, because WHF feedback on the Forum is sketchy.
