I am thinking of buying a bose acoustimass 16 series home cinema speaker system. Are they any good. Do they sound as good as what they say.

People here say "Bose is to be hidden not heard".

They mean they are small speaker so good for the wife to look at but not for the man who plays his AC DC music.

Bose kit isn't bad - in fact some of it is very decent - but it's typically way over-priced. You can buy a lot better performance for your money.
