Bose V35 vs MA Apex - Which is better?

They are different in many respects (i.e. Bose V35 has its own AV receiver). But what do you guys think? Which system sounds better? Has better performance? Can the Apex top the V35 if it's matched with a decent AV receiver?

Apex all the way, drive them with a decent amp and sit back.

forgot to add, get the lx73 to drive them or if you can stretch get the lx83 to drive it! The Yahmaha 3037 is meant to be good too, but i have not heard it myself.

A budget amp even with the Apex would blow away the Bose system.
