Hi,

Does anyone have a view or opinion on how good this system is? And how it compares against non-Bose packages such as the B&W-MT30 and Monitor Audio Apex?

Thanks

I demoed Bose V20 last year. The midrange was rubbish but overall, the performance was decent.

I then demoed Monitor Audio Radius HD & B&W MT30 both of which were superior to the Bose.

I eventually went for Monitor Audio as I found it to be the best among the three.

Bose (gulp)....no one will provide you with decent advice here on that my friend. I do agree id you go with the b&w's mentioned above you will get far better sound quality.

Not so. Bose systems exist to fill the Lifestyle gap between the best HiFi quality and the best aesthetic look available. If you need something that sounds good and looks good then Bose is the answer.

I have a Bose Acoustimass 15 system, which I admit is not the best acoustically, but for something that is almost invisible yet sounds great is for me an achievement of both form and function.

Thanks Dave. I'll probably go with the Apex along with the Denon AVR-3311. I'm buying in two weeks once i'm back from my hols. I was querying the Bose V35 to cover all ground. I just recently sold my Bose Acoustimass 10 which didn't give me the punchy sound i wanted.
