hi everyones

I have already an AV receiver (pioneer VSX-920-K , 140 W x 7) and I am hesitating between this two brands .

- bose acoustimass speakers system AM15MK3W which I can get for £1000

or a wharfedale diamond series package that i gonna get in several times .

I know that wharfedale is more powerfull, but bose looks interresting for me !

I heard some good and bad things about bose

so if someone could help me in my decision , it will be great.

thanks in advance

bye

They are two different speaker styles, the diamonds are bookshelf and they are great, and I think will have better sound than the bose.

Bose are ok, but they are meant for style.

If you want style get the kef speakers, but for a 1000.00 I would look at the new Monitor Audio BX pack, they might do a BR2 pack with subwoofer, for less than a 1000.00 and would rock, they are out next week.

You can get better than bose and wharfedale for 1000.00

RSW12 subwoofer was 800.00 you can get for 299.00 if you dont mind silver, and then just get the surrounds.

As canada16 suggests, you can get better sounding speakers than Bose for the money (although you'll be hard pressed to find speakers as small as Bose which sounds as good).

You've got to demo different speakers before deciding on one.

Check out Monitor Audio Radius HD series, B&W MT-25/30 and KEF 3005 series, along with the Bose and Wharfedale systems.

i have bose acoustimass 3 for my hi-fi in the front room and some mission 760i se in the back room the both the same size hooked up to a denon amp my father gave me, i honestly prefere the bose i think they are better quality and better low end.

i honestly would reccomend bose but you need decent partnering equpment otherwise the sound does does extrememly muddy, i have the acoustimass module in the corner and the cubes on the walls about arms lenght above head height they sound nice good bass, clear mids and sparkleing highs, i dont see the problem with bose at all.
