Bose Acoustimass 5 with home cinema set up

I have a Bose Acoustimass 5 system with powered subwoofer and 5 double cubes. It is really good sizewise for the room but what about quality? along with a Yamaha amp it sounds fine but how is it rated by the experts?

If it sounds fine to you, surely that's the most important thing?!

Generally we tend to find Bose kit highly competent and well-presented, but pricey for the performance it offers. You can typically buy a better performance for less money, but not necessarily in such a neat package.

Thanks a lot Clare! I appreciate your reply. What Hi-Fi doesnt seem to feature many Bose products, maybe that is because of the cost, and the fact that there are UK brands of high quality for less price. I am actually living in the Middle east and the choice here is very limited. Also model numbers here differ from UK, i think they make different models for this market, which means that you can read a review of a Sony 40" W series from UK and the model here is completely different. I recently bought a 40" Sony here, but it is not a KDL modle no.
