Bookshelf Speakers: Roth Audio Oli 10 or Tannoy Mercury V1

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy some new speakers for an Onkyo CS-535 bookshelf stereo system, and have narrowed things down to two types: the Roth Audio Oli 10 or Tannoy Mercury V1. Would anybody have an opinion on which would be the better option of the two? The speakers will be placed on 12 inch high oak speaker stands, and the room is a small den. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I would go for the Tannoys out of the two. You could also try the likes of Dali and Monitor audio as well. Second hand you maybe able to get much more for your money.
