I have an Arcam AVR360 and a set of Tannoy DC6T fronts and am about to buy a pair of Mission 78DS as rears. I don't want a large centre speaker as I'd like to put it in the cupboard under the screen. I have tried one of my old Sony SS86e speaker as a centre and it worked very well, but as it is in use in our kitchen, I can't use it all the time. Space is limited as the speaker can only be 30cm wide and 18cm in height. What I'm after is a small centre speaker, or even a single bookshelf speaker to fit in the gap. Any ideas on what might work well with my Tannoys and where to obtain what I'm looking for?

Hello
I would suggest a demo of the neat iota to use as a centre (I think you can only get singles from dealers) to see if they would work with your tannoys.
It produces a full fat sound from such a small box.

It’s always best to have all the speakers (Particularly the front) from the same manufacture and range for best results, however if this is not possible then you will need to pop along to your local dealer and demo some alternatives with the speakers you have, then choose which one suits your ears the best. (A good dealer will also be able to give you advice on the best way to set your system up with your selection)

Hope this helps
