Bluetooth ear buds

First.I'm a complete novis regarding Bluetooth.I use wired headphones at the moment connected to my av receiver for listening to tv late on for the sanity of my neighbour.I'm looking at the sony WF-1000 XM3 ear buds.I understand that they are bluetooth 5,my tv which is Samsung is 4.2.Would they be compatible.My bt hub2 is connected to my tv by ethernet cable ,the bt youview is also connected to the hub by ethernet .Hope i've given all details required. .

Hi. Bluetooth 5 is backwards compatible with Bluetooth 4.2 so should be able to connect the Sony earbuds to your TV no problem. 👍
