I HAVE A SONY W46 4500 SINCE HAVING THE NEW SKY PLUS EPG SOME CHANNELS SHOWS

BLUE VERTICAL BANDS EITHER SIDE OF THE TV

Me too. Just going to have to live with it I think.

Try changing the picture settings.

You probably have the picture set to "Just Scan." Try changing it to 16:9.

I don't have the new EPG yet, but I have read some of the comments of those who have overcome their teething problems.

The only way i can get rid is by using overscan on my pany but this softens the picture slightly what was wrong with black borders??

thanks for the comments - sky sports the worst - thank god not on any of the hd channels
