Blue line through 5090

Hi

Just purchased a new pioneer 5090 - beautiful picture except that it seems to have a blue line running from top to bottom which is noticable on pale backgrounds i.e. skin etc. Any ideas why this happening?

Is the blue line down one side, right on the edge of the screen?

I was having this prolem with my Samsung PS50B850, I found that if I change the pixel mapping from "screen fit" to "16:9" on non-HD programmes, this fixed the problem.

It might be worth looking into.

Also, on the "screen fit" option, the sammy's have the option of moving the picture left or right, which might also work if the pioneer has this option.

Thanks for your reply. Its more a blue/green line, it starts at the bottom at the centre of screen going vertical to middle of screen, Awaiting sevenoaks to contact pioneer now, So hopefully know what problem is tomorrow
