Blu rays to test my new receiver

Having got an Atmos receiver, i want to test what Atmos or pseudo Atmos can give me. Orders Expendables 3 as not seen yet and it comes with Atmos.

Any other films worth getting? Seen John Wick could times and weak second half so any others please?

Don't have to be Atmos as long as they have and expansive and testing soundtrack.

Apocalypse Now (non Atmos) for the helicopter-ey bits, Apollo 13 for the blastoff scenes, Gravity Atmos special edition, The Martian Atmos version, Mad Max (the new one) with Atmos, Sulley with Atmos...

The hobbit desolation Smaug (Dragon with Bilbo Scene) was uber impressive at Gecko on their main MK System - heard it when they had the octosub atmos upmixed. Was that real impressive

Did not really like this and I'm a big superman and batman fan. Wonder woman was a bright spot in the film although not entirely necessary for story.

Wonder Woman as a character was introduced for 2 reasons:

1) A standalone Wonder Woman film.

2) Justice League film.

I've read people talk of an Atmos demo disc that is meant to be very good. No idea where you buy them, you could probably torrent it from somewhere if that's your thing?

that they use at shows etc are available on ebay but there certainly not going cheap.

I know. But Marvels do that kind of intro far more niftily.

Watched Expendables 3 with Atmos last night.

I must say you don't need mega expensive overhead speakers to get an enveloping and convincing soundscape
Of course it helps that my rears are mounted 2m up so that the overheads and fronts and rears form a very balanced envelope with no quiet spots.
