Are they going to bring out blu-ray player/receiver combos? I have decent speakers, which am happy with. Also have PS3. I know people say it better to get separates but I prefer then combos. I need one that plays dvd/blu-ray, pre-amp with 5.1 minimum output so I can connect them straight to the speakers.

Given you have the PS3, you only really need a receiver - is there a reason you want the unit to play Blu-Rays on a new unit as well? Also, what's your budget?

BTW - there are already some all-in-one Blu-Ray units - the latest WHF issue has a group test of them. However, virtually all all-in-one units also come with speakers.

I will eventually be moving the PS3 into a games room I have. My budget will stretch to about £200. I want an combo without speakers.

I don't know of any all-in-one units which don't come with speakers unfortunately. Given the cheapest stand-alone Blu-Ray players are about £130 - £140, I think it will be a while before there is anything in your budget as well I'm afraid.

Personally, I'd carry on saving for a while if I were in your shoes, aside from the fact as the Prof says, the product you're after doesn't seem to have been developed yet.
