Blu ray connundrum.

I am looking to buy my first Blu Ray player in the next few weeks and am struggling to make my mind up between the Panasonic BD30 and the PS3. I have read reviews for both and they both sound good for obvious different reasons. Although I do like gaming, I'm not as bothered as I used to be and was looking more toward the Panasonic, the multi-functionality of the PS3 is tempting however. The player would be to link up with the Samsung LE40656A which I'm picking up this week, I have however read a number of reviews from angry Samsung LCD owners who have said that there are serious compatability issues! Can anyone shed any light on this and suggest the best machine to go for???

The reviews of compatability issues were with Samsung LCDs and the Panasonic BD30 - just to be a bit more clear!!!
