I’m looking to buy my first blu ray player and initially was looking at buying the Sony bdp s350, the price and spec looks good and it’s received a good What Hifi review which is also good to hear.
My problem is that just seen the also excellent Panasonic dmp bd35 for only £65 more than the Sony. Given my setup which player would best suit me, is the pana worth the extra?

Yes, your system is definitely good enough for the Panasonic.

I'd say it's marginal - WHF preferred the Sony sound as far as I remember. ÿI am delighted with my Sony going into a 4280XD (via Yamaha 3800) and have no regrets. ÿIt was the introductory deal which tempted me!

Ksutty:So If I opted for the Sony would I be missing out? Its worth the extra money for the Pana?

I have the exact same amp & speakers as you, and just bought the 350. I guarantee you'll love it!
