The Onkyo 606 won't pass 3D through to your TV, so you either need a 3D BD player with dual HDMI outputs - one to carry 3D video to a TV, the other to carry audio to your Onkyo -, such as the Panasonic DMP-BDT300, or a player with multichannel analogue outputs to match the inputs on the Onkyo.

Hi

I am somewhat confused with the whole 3d transformation.

My setup is Optoma pj (that will be replaced for HD600X & 3dXL)

84" elec screen (possible upgrade)

Onkyo 606

PS3 and Xbox 360 also Alienware laptop with Nvidia 3d.

Am I right in thinking, I will need to replace my amp for one that has 3d pass through? I have read forums galore and its a bit of information overload.

The HD600X I believe has 1.3 HDMI input, but 3d needs 1.4, according to the forums. Will I need to change any of my HDMI cables and can you describe in simple terms the way I need to set things up.

Thanks in advance
